Why is everyone so happy about it ? It's great . When were we ever as
engaged in US politics ?
I'm fascinated as to why I would feel emotional and hopeful too .
Are we finally waking up to the fact we are fucking the planet ?
Charmed by good looks and great speeches ?
Fed up of spending billions fighting for people who seem to broadly
hate us?
Perhaps we understand one global village more?
And isn't it brilliant the role technology has played . Lessons indeed
for digital marketing strategies everywhere .
Its probably all of the above but I am liking to also think that it's
about basic human decency and hope .
Things ain't good in a number of areas ( put mildly ) and we do what
we can as individuals.
Now we elect him in the hope he uses his power and galvanises money
and policy for things that matter and are right .
