Can't remember much trauma in my life but one that definitley sticks out was pretending to be ill when I was 13 with a cold
Dragged to doctors - long story short - forget about the cold - you are obese lets get you to the hospital
In the long run - did me a favour. Got my head out of the fridge. B ut kind of stung at the time (understatement)
Went today for a sinus check, got involved in a conversation about snoring and before I knew it I was on the scales again.
Apparently by BMI of 27 makes me officially overweight (25-29 is overweight so apparently I'm half way to obese)
Now I know my belly has swelled over recent months but even in my paranoid about weight state (see early post - which was to self for those who have told me I am being offensive to fat people) I didn't actually think I was that fat. Just needed a couple of weeks of gym and better eating.
How thin does one have to be these days?
And the moral of the story?
Don't go the doctors with a cold.................. they'll only tell you that you are fat
